In today’s contemporary knowledge economy, wherein the populace is making excuses to stay away from agriculture, the backbone of Indian economy, and impeding their successors from entering the same, here is one ‘educated farmer’ who would make the ‘profession of agriculture’ proud and surely lay a track of inspiration for those aspirants in dilemma whether to chose cultivation or not.
Yes, can anyone believe that a famer would attract the highest authority of state, the Chief Minister to his farm for a visit?
Or does anybody think it is practical that the government chooses a farmer to interact with the President of U.S.A?
Will the farming community or those who argue against agriculture trust that scientists from 24 countries visited the farm of successful farmer?
Gudivada Nagaratnam Naidu, who hails from a remote village Balakrishnapuram in Chittoor district, Andhra Pradesh has created a history of sorts in his most preferred occupation i.e. agriculture. Mr. Naidu and his spouse Mrs. Satyavathi, who were established in comfortable jobs couldn’t suppress their innate desire to make their way into their most preferred field ‘agriculture’.
Renouncing his secure jobs, they forayed into agriculture by purchasing 17 acres of land, which is barren and rocky, by investing about Rs.3.4 lakh in Taramathipet village of Himayatnagar mandal of Rangareddy District in Andhra Pradesh from the savings they had from their jobs. The couple converted the land which was unfit for cultivation into a gold mine by sheer hard work and determination. By introducing innovative methods like mixed cropping, organic farming, dry land, water saving technologies, floriculture, and so on.

it is good to see such legends creating a bench mark in this agri sector... i am from tamilnadu madurai district, it will be benefited if you provide your guidence to al our nation so that each and every farmer will be benefited. how it is posible to get your guidence to implement in our farm??? is there any posiblities to get your guidence to proceed and spread in our district?
